Greenhouse Heating

Due to better output that Groundtherm system has in comparison to the common systems, it can operate with lower water temperatures and therefore cooperate with the modern saving energy systems, such as heat pumps, solar collectors, geothermy etc.

The hot water circulates inside of the pipes Groundtherm, which were successfully tested in heating. These pipes are manufactured from a special raw material polypropylene Random in black color and they are very resistant to corrosion, to acidic conditions of the ground, to fertilizers and to pesticides.

The profile of the Groundtherm pipes looks like a “Radiator” and has double output from the usual smooth pipe of polypropylene (diagram 1).

The pipes are available in 25mm diameter and have nominal operating pressure 1,5 Bar at the usual heating temperature of greenhouses (50OC). They are accompanied by the fittings made from the same material.

SOLIN  S.A. offers full technical support in installing the GROUNDTHERM system through the specialized engineer department.

For the study of the engineering department the following data is required:

-The area, where the greenhouse is located.

-The dimensions of the greenhouse.

-The cover material (PE film, single or double glass, polycarbonate plates etc).

-The type of plants that will be cultivated.

– Distance between the plants.
